The purpose of Misfortune or Salvation is to have the player use different perspectives of the same room to get the best ending. Nothing in the room changes other than the player’s perception. 

I hope to achieve a sense of curiosity to arise from the player. This makes the game more interactive by allowing the player to have more insight to the space around them whereas in a traditional 2D game, it is followed from that one camera viewpoint.

I am going to be using the conditional advanced dialogue options for this game. It makes sense to use conditional dialogue as it will be based off the player’s perception of the game and will show different results if they do not make use of the perception switching spots.

The current project is just a draft of me experimenting with the perception switching in a way that it does not affect the player’s sense of space. By this, I mean that I want the player to feel that they are in the same room, even though everything in the room flips around in a moment’s notice.
